20 weeks

Chase took this picture yesterday! I just started pokin out there within the last week and it seems to be getting huge fast!

Well this morning we went and did the routine ultrasound for the baby and I was VERY impressed with the lady...this being my 3rd pregnancy she was byfar the best and informative person to do my ultrasound! She explained EVERYTHING she was looking at and seeing, we didnt get the best pictures so I am not even going to waste the time posting them but I do know that my little GIRL didnt grow any boy parts in the last 3 weeks :) (which is GREAT considering we painted a wall in her room PINK :)) and that she has a perfect shaped head, brain, heart and all her legs and arms!! It is always nice to go in and get good information and get to see my little baby inside me!! On Sunday I will be 20 weeks and so far have not gained anything and am starting to show a little bit. This baby is measuring a week behind so that is different for me cause Ryker measured 4 days bigger and MayCee was always measuring over a week (HUGE) and came out almost 9 lbs :( We are going to go and get a 3d 4d fun scan done in a month so I KNOW I will get great pictures then so I will for sure post them!!!!

Rykers surgery!!

So today was Ryker's surgery...We had to be there at 9am and we got all the paperwork done and then went back to pre-op where they had me put Ryker in a little gown and he just sat on the bed. The dr came and talked to us and then a male nurse came out and said he was going to wrap him up in a blanket and then take him back so I figured Ryker would get a little upset but he didnt even make a sound, he looked a little worried but didnt make a peep!! We went out to the waiting room where Chase and I sat on the edge of our chairs wondering when someone was going to come and get us! FINALLY what seemed like FOREVER but was only 30 minutes a nurse came and got us and put us in a room...Chase and I looked at eachother and sat down and then the dr came in and said everything went great and that he not only had a blockage in the duct that they had to puncture but there was also a shelf that was laying down (I had no clue there were shelves in your nose) so she had another dr step in (Im assuming it must have been an ear nose and throat dr...the dr that was doing the surgery is just an eye dr) and lift the shelf so it wasnt laying down and everything was open, so they would let us go back when the nurse came to get us in a few minutes. She came back and another nurse was holding him and he was SOOO UPSET!!! It made me SO SAD...he NEVER cries and we sat there for about 45 minutes with him crying and then they gave him some tylenol with codine and we left and after about 15 minutes more of crying he went to sleep...So after an hour total of crying and getting some meds he slept from 11-2 and when he woke up I got him out of bed and went to sit on the couch with him and he wanted down :( I just wanted to cuddle him after all that and he was done...he wanted down and to go play with his toys so I got up and made him some oatmeal Which was the first thing he had eating since last night around 6 so he was pretty hungry and SOOO happy to eat. After getting a full tummy he got down and has been back to normal playing and runnin around like a mad man!! I am SOOOO glad to have it all done and over with and to move on now!! I just want to thank everyone that had him in your thoughts today that really means alot to our family!!

Some new and EXCITING stuff :)

SO I am REALLY going to try my hardest to update more cause alot has been going on lately!! My little Ryker just turned 1 on Feb 12th and he has been such a joy to have in our family!! MayCee has ALWAYS been such a handful so Chase didnt think he could handle another kid and then little Ryker came along and changed his daddys mind :) So therefore we decided we would have #3...WELL some of you may know but for those of you who dont know #3 decided to come a little sooner then we expected!!!! As of Sunday I am 16 weeks along and I dont know if because I know it is the last baby I am going to have or what but I have been SOOOOO IMPATIENT to find out what this little baby is!! I have had a feeling that it is a boy but I also had a feeling little Ryker was a girl and as you can see...I was wrong!! WELL I went in for my dr appt this morning at 9am and she said that I can set up my ultrasound for 19 weeks....WHAT!!!! With both my other kids I got it at 18 weeks so I am totally counting down to 18 wks and now I have to add a week....UGG So then she tells me that they do gender checks for $25 (Just an ultrasound to see what the gender is) so I got my 19 week ultrasound scheduled and my next dr appt scheduled and left the office and called Chase right then (he stayed home so that he could take MayCee to tap dance) and he said "I'll pay $25 to find out what it is for sure!!!!" :) At this point I was SOOOO excited he agreed to it so I hung up with him and called my office back and the girl said that they could do it at 11am...I got a babysitter (THANKS JORDAN) and we took off to the office AGAIN!!!! I drank all the water I could and by the time I got there I thought I was going to explode!!! My bladder was SOOO full the lady told me to go empty it so that the baby wasnt so squashed :) when I finally got done doing that then we got the news that we are having another GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY wanted a girl but at the same time I REALLY wanted a boy...I love both of my kids to death and wouldnt trade either of them for anything but I am SOOOO EXCITED that we are having another baby girl :) Chase is pretty excited about it too but we were BOTH VERY shocked cause we thought it was a boy.

Back to Ryker....since he was born he has had problems with his tearduct NOT draining!! Everytime he wakes up then his right eye is closed shut by goopies and it makes me so sad for him so at his 1 year check-up his dr referred us to an eye dr and we went to her 2 days later...she said that she needs to do a small surgery on him :( I am FREAKING out about them putting my little TINY baby out but I know it is for a good cause so I WILL get through it...this is happening on March 2nd! She said that all she is going to do is push a tool into his tearduct and pop open the membrane that never opened so it isnt to invasive but I still HATE that they are putting him out :(

Onto MayCee :P She has been doing SOOO good in school this year and she is also in Tap and Gymnastics...she has been doing really well in Gymnastics that she has been moved up to the 4-7 year old class (she was in the 2-5 year old) this one is more advanced and she is doing SOO GOOD I am so proud of her :)

My mom had surgery over a month ago and she stayed at my house the night after and MayCee got up and got in bed with her at 4 am and would not go back to sleep but being the good Nanny she is she just went back to sleep and let her stay in there...So the next morning I asked MayCee why she was being such a pain and going and waking nanny up after she got her owies on her tummy and she looked at me with this serious little look and said " But MOM the sun was stuck....it was NEVER going to come up!!" LOL I just about fell on the floor...I always tell her to stay in her room til the sun comes up and that is what she came up with...WOW she sure did put some thought into that one :)

Well my little Ryker is awake now so I am going to TRY my hardest to keep this more updated!! Thanks for being patient ;)

LONG BREAK!!!!

SO I am sorry that I have been so bad with keeping up with this blogging business...we had internet issues and then we got then all fixed and both our computers started having TONS of problems so Chase and I decided that we would just get new computers for Christmas :) YAY
I got a cute little netbook that I LOVE!!!! Chase got a laptop that he cant put away so he must really like it too!! I plan on getting back on this and doing it more hopefully I can update a couple times a month!! Sorry for the break and thanks for hangin in there!!!!
Alot has been going on lately. MayCee is my big helper with Ryker but sometimes she is too much of a help! She thinks she is his mom and wont leave him alone!
As for Ryker!! He is such a good little guy and puts up with pretty much everything! He wants to walk SOOO BAD but just doesnt dare to take steps...he can stand pretty long though. The other day I put him in bed for a nap and he started screaming, I knew that it wasnt just a cry to get out either so I ran in there and picked him up really fast and snuggled him as I walked out to the couch, when I sat down on the couch I pulled him away from me and his mouth was all bloody then I realized that his bottom tooth was pushed out more then it was before :( my poor little man was pretty tender for the rest of the day to food and his bottle. Poor thing.
