5 YEARS!!

Yesterday was mine and Chase's 5 year anniversary!! I can not believe it has been 5 years already...I asked him if he felt like it had been and he said "I just can't believe we have a 2 1/2 year old and another one on the way!!" Then he says, "I can't believe I have a kid at all!!" He is just in disbelief about everything these days I think :)



Well for our anniversary he didn't get off work til around 6 and I have been in Kanab all week so we didn't get to see each other until 10 pm so we didn't get to do anything fun but I guess after 5 years the only thing we could've done is go to dinner or something?! Oh well, there is many more years to come to celebrate! :) I think we have grown ALOT as a couple in the last 5 years and it is only getting better!



We got married in a drive-thru (The Little White Wedding Chapel) in Vegas on Nov. 7Th 2003 and continued living apart while Chase was in the Marines in Cali and I stayed in Kanab. We had a nice wedding Jan. 3rd 2004 and that is when I moved to Oceanside with Chase where right after we got settle we learned that he was being sent over to Okinawa Japan for a year!! :( We knew that was going to be hard but we could get through it and we did of course, relying on phone and letters was a good way to build a relationship and that is just what it did! When Chase got back from his year tour then he got out of the Marines within a couple of days and we moved straight to St. George and he started working at Western Rock before he was actually discharged. We have one very active and lovable little girl, MayCee Ann. We bought our first home in Ivins in August 2007 and are going to have a little boy in Feb. 2009. We are growing more and more as a couple and as a family and will continue too. I LOVE YOU CHASE!!!! :)

It's NOVEMBER!!!!

I can't believe it is already November!! This baby is going to be here before I know it and I am SOOO not ready for him yet :) I'm sure by the time he gets here we will be closer but as of now I really have nothing ready...oops! Well October was a fun month cause of the deer hunt and Halloween. Chase drew out for the hunt so we invited Jesse and Savannah to go camp with us and that was fun, we left MayCee with my mom so it was a nice little get away without kids. :) Halloween this year was VERY different from what we are use to. I have always gone in Kanab and this year we decided to stay home. Chase insisted on MayCee being something scary so I gave into the skeleton. I painted her face and she was so excited and when I was all done then she ran in the bathroom and just stared at the mirror without moving at all. She acted like if she moved then something was going to get her, it was so funny. We don't know very many people in St. George and the ones we do know were all gone for trick or treating or were out of town so we went to a couple trunk or treats and then headed home....when we got home MayCee said "I wanna go trick or treat at more cars", when she said that it made me want to cry!! I told Chase that from now on we will be going to Kanab for Halloween cause I don't want MayCee thinking that you go to cars and not houses :( Being pregnant brings out some great emotions!!!! Next year I will have 2 kids to dress up and I told Chase that MayCee was going to be a cute little witch or something girly ;) We haven't decided about the baby yet though.

Birthday, Birthday

Well it is my birthday today and I am just shocked that I am 25!!!! I still feel like I am like 18, its funny. I think we are going to go to my nephew's pee-wee football game and then later go to my sisters house for dinner and cake :) So exciting!! I woke up to it raining :) (that's one thing I like about Kanab, it rains here!!)

Chase drew out for the hunt this year and so we are going to go hunting together in a few weeks and we are both hoping he gets something!! I just hope that I dont freeze my butt off!

It's a....

Well I had my ultrasound on Friday and we found out what we are having :) It's a BOY!! We are all really shocked cause we thought it would be another girl but we are still happy :) Friday when I went in I was 18 weeks and he measured 18 weeks 4 days SO I'm thinking I'm going to have another HUGE kid!! MayCee was 8 lbs 15 oz and in the process of delivering her her shoulder got stuck and she broke my tail bone so my Dr. has already told me to think about getting started a week early! We are looking forward to having a little boy now and are thinking this will probaby be our last because of how sick I get during the pregnancy. So that is all for now and I will keep trying to post more!!

Nothings goin on!!

Hey there all! We have just been hanging out lately but not too much goin on! We went to the lake with somw friends a couple weekends ago and it was alot of fun!! Thanks Derrick and Tiffini for the invite! Other then that MayCee is in gymnastics now and that is really fun for her, she is doin good and I hope she would love to stick with it for awhile considering she is only 2!! Chase is just workin his life away!! We find out what the baby is next Friday so I will update you all on that when the time comes :)

My first appointment

I went to the Dr. yesterday for my 1st baby appointment and we heard the babies heartbeat!!!!! That was such a relief after losing the last baby :( So far everything looks great and I am due on Feb 20Th which is Chase's Bros birthday :) (Jesse) and Chase's birthday is on the 27Th so we'll have a lot of birthdays in Feb now. So as of now I am 10 weeks 4 days. YAY!!!

#2!!

Well I just thought I'd let you all know that we are going to have another baby :) After a miscarrage and a while worrying if this one was ok I am past my worrying!!! I hope everything will be ok still but I go to the dr in a couple weeks so I will post about it then! :)

MayCee's friends came to play

MayCee decided at 8:30 AM that she wanted to play in her pool!! (Good thing Ivins is freaking HOT!!) So I went and filled it up for her and then a few hours later decided to see if Boden & Jett wanted to come and play...they had a blast!! It is always so much fun watching kids be crazy and play, so here are some fun pictures of them, by the time they got here the pool was already pretty warm too!

So I posted a few random pictures of MayCee, I am so horrible at keeping this updated but Im going to try to be better :)

It has been SO nice here lately that we are taking advantage of it!! I got her this little pool last year and didnt get to use it very much because we were living in a condo and now that we have our own home I decided that I was going to make it a point to let her play in it more. So needless to say, she has been in it EVERYDAY since I put it up for her :) It is great that she can go out and play in the water and have fun and I can lay out and get a tan!!!













The hose is the most exciting part about the whole thing!! She won't put it down and is always putting it on her head to get herself wet :)













The sun is sure bright she cant even keep her eyes open :)

MayCee's 2!!!!

MayCee turned 2 on April 12th (Saturday) we had her party at our house and she had a blast. I also took her to the Doctor Monday for her 2 year check up. She weighs 31 lbs (91%) She's 35 in (82%) and her head is 18.9 in (65%) so all in all she is and always has been really high in the percentages. Here are some pictures from her birthday party.

This is her cake...I can't believe my baby is 2!!


It is just really crazy to me that she is already 2! She started out life being stubborn. She was due on April 5th but decided she was going to wait til the 12th to come and let me tell you, a week over living in St. George in the heat was NOT fun. When she was born she was 8 lbs 15 oz 19 3/4 in long. She has always been a big girl! We've always said that on her 1st birthday she hit her terrible 2's and about 2 weeks before her 2nd b-day she started being REALLY nice and not so tempermental so Im just hoping she is done with being naughty. We really did get lucky with her! She has done everything SOO fast, she started walking at 9 months was potty trained at 18 months (all her idea, but I wasn't going to argue!!) and about a month ago we got her a cute loft bed with a slide on it and she had no problems with the changes. (It has railing on it so she won't fall out) She knows that "nap time" and "night night" is laying down and sleeping and when she is done then she can play on her slide. I was a bit worried about that slide but we haven't had any problem with her wanting to play instead of sleep.

I am the biggest slacker at this blogging but I am going to TRY to do it more. I hope you all enjoy :)

Chase and car update

Well I just thought I'd do an update on the "weekend excitment". Chase had a bit of a stiff neck there for a couple days but being "a guy" he wouldn't go to the dr. so id he has whiplash we'll never know how bad it is!! I got an estimate on my 4-runner today and the damage is up to $10,000 so they are going to start ordering parts and fixing and if they find more then the cost will keep goin up which is expected! I may get it back on April 11th (just estimated date from the shop). Im sure hoping so cause the rental I got feels SOOO cheap compared to my car!!

Our weekend excitment

On Saturday Chase went to Kanab to help his dad with some stuff. He called me to let me know he was on his way home and on his way home he called me several times!! So the last time he called I answered the phone and he said "The car is totalled, I just got in a wreck on the Blvd and the cops are on their way so I'll let you know what they say when I'm done. My stomach was in knotts!!!! I didnt know what happened and if he was hurt or not! So about 30 minutes later he calls me and tell me that he is driving home but the car is messed up. :( I ask what happened, he said that he was slowing down to stop at a red light behind a jeep when he was hit from behind and slammed into the jeep in front of him! Our car being in the middle got it pretty bad!! Here are some pictures, it is ALOT worse then it looks. Luckly Chase is ok!!!

We were trying to do Family pictures and she thought that she needed to go and try to clinb all the rocks instead, here she is just taking a break :) Cheese!!!!
